Investment Sales & Account Manager

Position Overview

The Investment Sales and Account Manager is responsible for creating investment proposals, meeting with prospects to present portfolios, completing and processing all necessary documentation, establishing accounts, executing trades, processing transaction requests, and coordinating with the client’s financial advisor on next steps. This role serves as the operational executor of investment strategies prescribed by the financial advisor.
Important Note: The Investment Sales and Account Manager is not a client relationship manager, nor a financial advisor, and does not function as the client’s primary point of contact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create investment proposals based on financial advisor prescriptions
  2. Conduct meetings with prospects to present portfolio options and address account-related inquiries
  3. Guide clients through the account application process with detailed support
  4. Complete, process, and maintain all required documentation and compliance paperwork
  5. Establish investment accounts, execute trades, and process all transaction requests
  6. Educate clients on account access, performance monitoring, tax document retrieval, and change request procedures
  7. Process account updates including banking instructions, address changes, and beneficiary modifications
  8. Maintain comprehensive records of all client meetings and communications
  9. Coordinate with financial advisors regarding client needs and next steps
  10. Contribute intellectual capital to enhance work processes and procedures
  11. Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to Lead Financial Advisor

Qualifications

Licensing:
Series 65 required
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in financial services industry
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with trading platforms and CRM systems
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, positive professional demeanor
