Q&A - Should I wait until the market cools off before I invest?

Good morning Stephen,
In our meeting the other week, you advised me to move my TSP out of the L2030 fund and into a more aggressive portfolio, mostly C & S funds.
I was thinking, since the stock market is doing well, should I wait until later so I can buy C and S funds at a cheaper price?

Great question!
It’s essentially a market timing question, though. And I don’t know how to time the market. The market may be lower next week, or next month, or next year. I just don’t know. But, whatever the price is today, it is lower than what it will be in 10 years. This has been the case 96.5% of the time.
So, I’d say to get your money in there, asap.
